We specialize in high-quality, large diameter and ​​knot-free eucalyptus and pine sawlogs and veneer logs for the production of lumber, furniture, plywood and wood-based panels. We commercialize more than 200,000 m3 of logs per year.

Wood - AF Maderas

AF Maderas was established in 2011 to market and distribute one of the most relevant forest products of our assets under management: roundwood from certified forest plantations owned by the BDUs funds.
AF Maderas is a subsidiary of AF, with a strong presence in Asia, accomplishing the needs of more than 40 clients, located in India, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, South Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, among others.
AF Maderas possesses direct links with purchasers across each market with an extensive network of dealers and long-term relationships with final customers.
We have certified our forestry chain of custody under FSC® standards (FSC® C106090) and our entire production process is certified under the ISO 9001 standard.
AF delivers different forest product.

Carbon Credits

We have 4 carbon projects with more than 38,000 hectares certified under Verra’s VCS (Verified Carbon Standard) and CCB (Climate, Community & Biodiversity).
Verra's role is to certify the concentration of carbon present in the biomass and that carbon capture from the project has actually occurred.
Besides, in order to ensure quality and integrity in the development of carbon credits we work with independent experienced experts to conduct the technical feasibility analysis.
Annually, we monitor not only the carbon content in our projects, but also other environmental and social indicators through our IMM (impact, measurement, and management) system.
